Department of Information Technology

Information Technology department was established in 2001 to create socially responsible, strong minded technocrats in and around Kovilpatti. The Department has 300 pentium based computers accommodated in 4 computer centres with recent software and internet facility to feed the art of computer science to our budding engineers. Our computer centre is kept open even after the college hours to help the students to raise their programming skills using current and latest software tools. Students are permitted to utilize the computer centre during all the morning, evening session and also on saturdays for increasing their programming skill using conventional and latest software tools. Students can surf into internet from 7 AM to 8 PM. Sophisticated and latest software have been purchased to enable the faculty as well as students to pursue their research / project works.
